We’re exploring the feasibility of developing a new, integrated plastic clip strip based on what we’re hearing from the market. But before we invest in mold development and production, we want to gather broader input from professionals like you.

Hookei currently offers two alternatives in this category—but both have limitations:

1. Metal Clip Strips (Existing Product)

• Strong and durable

• Equipped with metal spring clips
  But: Higher unit cost, heavier bulk weight, much higher freight cost for large-volume orders

2. Plastic Hook Strips (Existing Product)

• • Lightweight and cost-effective

  • Molded with simple hanging hooks
    But: Limited load-bearing capacity, products are not held securely in high-traffic areas

So, Why Consider a New Plastic Clip Strip Design?

We’re considering a new solution: a single-mold, plastic strip with integrated clips—offering the lightweight advantages of plastic, but with the secure hold of a clip-style design.

However, this is not an easy or casual decision, because:

Complex Design & High Tooling Cost

• One-piece injection molding with multiple connected clips

• Requires precise structural engineering and a custom mold

• High upfront investment for tooling and development

Unclear Market Benchmarks

• No identical product currently available in the market
